Your submission is forwarded to the Board of Assessors and logged as a pending abatement inquiry.

They contact you to review your claim
An Assessors' staff member will reach out to discuss your reason for abatement and may request supporting documentation such as a recent appraisal.

Decision issued in writing
The Board has 3 months to act on your application. You will be notified in writing whether your abatement is granted, denied, or deemed denied. You may appeal to the Appellate Tax Board within 3 months of their decision.
